Changing your email
Self-service email changes. Old email keeps working until you click the confirmation link sent to the new address.
Step by step
- Open /dashboard/settings
- Click "Change your email address" below the email field
- Enter the new address and your current password
- We'll send a confirmation link to the new address
- Open that email and click the link — the change takes effect immediately
- Your existing session keeps working; future sign-ins must use the new address
Safeguards
- The current password is required to start the change
- The confirmation link expires after 24 hours
- We never change anything without an explicit click on the link sent to the new address
- The action is logged with the old and new addresses in your audit log
- If the new email becomes taken between request and confirmation, the change fails safely
Lost access to your old email?
If you can't sign in (because you forgot the password to the old account), use Forgot password from the login screen first. If the entire mailbox is gone (employer reclaimed it, domain expired), contact us — we'll verify ownership through your account billing.
