Team
Veritus accounts support multiple users with different roles. The first user (whoever signed up) is the owner; they can invite others.
Roles
| owner | Everything. Plus: transfer ownership, delete the account. Each customer has exactly one owner. |
| admin | Manage forms, API keys, rules, team (invite/remove/role-change), company settings. Can change own password but not own email. |
| member | Read-only on the dashboard and feed. Can change own profile and password. Cannot manage forms, keys, rules, or other users. |
Inviting a teammate
- Open Team
- Enter their email and pick a role
- They get an invitation email with a unique link
- They click, choose a password, and join — their email is pre-verified by the invitation
- Invites expire after 7 days. Cancel one from the Pending invites table if you sent it by mistake
Changing a role
Owner/admin can promote a member to admin or demote an admin to member. The owner role is special: it can only be transferred (see below), never assigned via the role buttons.
Removing a member
Removes them from the team and kills any active sessions immediately. Their historical actions remain in the audit log. The owner can't be removed — only transferred.
Transferring ownership
Owner-only action, in the bottom card of the team page. Pick a teammate → Transfer ownership. They become the new owner; you become an admin. The change is immediate and atomic (single transaction).
